NEW JONAH SHOW: Set sail on an exhilarating journey with one of the Bible’s most colorful prophets – Jonah! This massive production features breathtaking effects including a multifaceted 40-foot-tall ship that breaks apart right before your eyes and an immersive underwater scene with a shocking reveal of the big fish that swallows God’s misguided prophet. This sweeping musical intertwines powerful themes of love, mercy, obedience & second chances.
Tuesday: We begin our travel to PA aboard a fully equipped motorcoach. Lunch is on our own (rest stops) before our mid afternoon arrival at Sleep Inn Hotel in Mountville, PA. Before supper the “fictional Fisher Family” comes alive with its production of “Jacob’s Choice” which present in multi-media the “Choice” that Amish young adults make to join the Amish Life. Dinner this evening is at PLAIN AND FANCY RESTAUANT: All you can eat platters of Baked Lancaster Country Ham, Roast Beef, Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Buttered Noodles, Cole Slaw, Apple Sauce, Breads & Whipped Butter, Coffee, Tea, Iced Tea, Lemonade, Shoofly Pie, Apple Dumplings, Ice Cream, Served Family Style. Wednesday: Deluxe Continental Breakfast at Hotel (B) followed by a Fully Commentated Back Country Tour of the Farmlands of Lancaster Country. Stops include an Amish Bakery, Farm Stand, Cannery and Kitchen Kettle Shops in Intercourse. Ample time for lunch on our own and Shopping. Later this afternoon we head to Millenium Sight and Sound Theatre for the outstanding, Biblically-based theatrical production of “JONAH” – truly a sight and experience to behold. Dinner this evening is at MILLER’S SMORGASBORD – always delightfully delicious. (D).
Thursday: Following our Deluxe Continental Breakfast at the Hotel (B) we board the coach bound for The Sweetest Place on Earth” — HERSHEY, PA. Stops include the Milton Hershey School and Founders Hall as well as a visit to Hershey Chocolate World. Here you’ll have time to do a little shopping in the Chocolate Emporium and have lunch on your own. We then head for home with rest stops and supper (on your own) stop enroute.
