A New Orleans born and bred vocalist and actor, Henri has long been a radio personality in the city. After Hurricane Katrina, he was displaced and has ended up here in New England. Best of Times is delighted to welcome him to our stage. This velvet throated singer will share the rich musical and cultural heritage of New Orleans during this multi-faceted show.
Claire Dickson
New to Best of Times stage is 14-year-old Claire Dickson. Her love for singing showed itself early on. Claire did her first public solo at just three years of age. At five, she opened for the Von Trapp Children at the venerable Club Passim, performing “Zip-a-dee-doo-dah,” “Over the Rainbow,” and singer-songwriter Oen Kennedy’s “Loon Song.” At eight, she appeared in the Reagle Players’ “Sound of Music” alongside Sarah Pfisterer and John Davidson. She followed that up with a role as the very first Tiny Tim in New Repertory Theatre’s production of “A Christmas Carol,” receiving media raves for her performance of “A Child in the Snow.” In 2010 she won the award from Downbeat Magazine for best vocalist for her age.
