BEST OF TIMES EXCLUSIVE!!!
Featuring: Two of New Englands Premier Oldies Bands REMINISCE & STRAIGHT LACE
REMINISCE is an oldies group specializing in songs primarily from the 50’s and early 60’s. They have evolved from a 5-man vocal group to its current size of 8 talented musicians by combining the unique quality and love of acappella singing with the perfect match of instrumentation resulting in the showmanship and charisma of a live oldies band. Reminisce prides itself on achieving the original recording sound when performing any song. One of the groups greatest accomplishments was its surprise performance on the ROYAL Doo-Wop Groups show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. To date REMINISCE has performed with may of the great 50’s & 60’s groups such as: The “Platters”, The “Drifters”, “Larry Chance & The Earls”, “Peter Noone”, “Frankie Valli and the Four Season’s”, “The Temptations”, and many, many, more.
Imagine a band with over 40 years of experience, a song list that includes 100 Top Ten selections, a high energy show that swings, waltzes, and twists its way into your hearts and memories, excellent harmonies with expert musicianship...and suddenly you have STRAIGHT LACE! - One of New England’s Premier Bands. Hailing from Maine, this group has performed for many different occasions from intimate gatherings to extraordinary events. Straight Lace has performed on numerous occasions with Herb Reed and the Platters, The Drifters, and in the presence of President and Mrs. George H.W. Bush. They have entertained throughout New England providing high energy, foot stomping, interactive performances that have audiences clamoring for more.
THE FREE SPIRIT OF FREESTYLE CRUISING
Different from anything else on water.
With Freestyle Cruising, you’ll discover something you won’t find on other cruise lines - freedom. An NCL Freestyle Vacation cruise offers diverse and exciting restaurants, a more relaxed dress code and more things to see and do. And that’s just the beginning. We’ve designed the entire cruise experience around giving you the option to choose.
Dining
The choice is yours. From elegant French bistros and Italian trattorias to sushi and tapas bars, and more, there’s a different dining option for almost every night of your cruise. And there are no fixed seatings. You’re free to dine where, when and with whom you choose. Just as it should be on your vacation.
Attire
Wear what you want. Dress according to your mood. It is your vacation. “Resort casual” attire is as dressy as you’ll ever have to get for dinner. But if it’s elegance you’re dreaming of, we invite you to indulge.
St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands
The waterfront warehouses where gold-hungry pirates once stored their booty now house treasure of another kind: duty-free china, watches, jewelry and other luxury goods. Shopping is one of the big onshore attractions in Charlotte Amalie, the capital of the US Virgin Islands. Offshore, colorful coral reefs in turquoise waters lure snorkelers and scuba divers from all over the world. And everywhere, there’s spectacular scenery everyone can enjoy!
St. John’s, Antigua
With a beach for each day of the year, a coastline peppered with safe harbors and a nearly unbroken protective wall of coral reef, Antigua was fought over by many nations. It has been staunchly British since Lord Horatio Nelson established a naval headquarters here in the 1700s.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
There’s no formal border between Dutch St. Maarten and French St. Martin. No split personality, either. Just hypothetical line in the sand and beautiful Mullet Bay. On the Dutch side is a casino and shops and on the French, Charming cafes and high-fashion boutiques.
Tortola, British Virgin Islands
Lazy, laid-back Road Town serves up English pubs and pretty painted wooden buildings. But great bays and beaches are the big draw here. So is Sage National Park, where primeval stands of mahogany trees still rule the dense scrub.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Founded in 1521, San Juan’s picturesque cobblestone streets, plazas and chapels reflect its Spanish heritage. But the second oldest city in the Americas also boasts fine beaches, lush rainforests, verdant mountainsides, imposing forts and a lovely tropical climate.
